ACC provider

Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre holds five ACC contracts.

Under the main contract we hold with the ACC, we are subsidised for accepted claims. No referral is required and clients can complete an ACC form at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre. Phone Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre for an appointment (479-7101).

Functional Reactivation Programme (FRP)

FRP is for clients whose pain has persisted for more than six weeks. A physical reactivation approach helps clients to manage their return to work and independence. Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre has an excellent specialised rehabilitation gym and access to hydrotherapy facilities. Clients must be referred into this programme by an ACC case manager.

Physical Fitness for Work and Independence Programme (PFI)

PFI is for clients who require specific exercise and cardiovascular prescription to address work hardening, strength and fitness tailored to the clients specific work requirements. Clients must be referred into this programme by an ACC case manager.

Progressive Goal Attainment Programme (PGAP)

PGAP is a 10-week activity mobilisation programme for clients struggling to overcome the challenges associated with persistent pain conditions. It is a disability-prevention programme specifically designed to target those with pyschosocial risk factors. Clients must be referred into this programme by an ACC case manager.

Stay at Work Programme (SAW)

The SAW service involves Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre liaising with an injured person's employer, GP and other relevant health providers to identify how the employee can safely and quickly return to work. Clients must be referred into this programme by an ACC case manager.
