Our team

Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre is a large practice and all of our team of physiotherapists are well qualified and highly experienced. Our team is committed to continuing education, frequently holding professional development meetings, and regularly attending courses and conferences.

The team has experience mainly in New Zealand practices, but also in practices and hospitals as far afield as London and Rarotonga. A number of the team have owned their own practices and all the team are members of Physiotherapy New Zealand, our professional association.

The team works closely with GPs, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, ACC case managers, whanau, and employers.

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Physiotherapy
  • Diploma in Manual Therapy
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation

Kirsten DavieKirsten Davie - Executive Director
Dip Phys, Dip MT, MBA (dist)
Kirsten is the principal at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre having started the business in 1992. She holds diplomas in Physiotherapy and Manipulative Therapy and a Masters of Business Administration. Kirsten is a past president of Physiotherapy New Zealand and currently assists on the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association's post graduate courses. Kirsten is responsible for the strategic management of the practice while also performing a clinical role.

Jill HowardJill Howard - Physiotherapy Manager
Dip Phys, Dip MT
Jill is the Physiotherapy Manager at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre. She has over 25 years experience as a physiotherapist and has owned her own practice for the majority of that time. Prior to joining our team, Jill spent five years as Physiotherapy Advisor at Capital and Coast Health. She is also a past president of Physiotherapy New Zealand and currently serves on the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. Jill works predominantly in a clinical role, with the balance of her time focused on management.
